PALM COAST, Fla. — A Palm Coast man who exposed himself to a minor working at a fast-food drive-thru has been sentenced to five years of sex-offender probation.
Luke Dudkewic, 33, pleaded guilty Tuesday to lewd or lascivious exhibition by an adult in the presence of a victim younger than 16, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.
Circuit Judge Dawn Nichols also designated Dudkewic a registered sex offender and convicted felon. He is prohibited from returning to the Chick-fil-A where the incident occurred.
Deputies responded to the restaurant on State Road 100 on April 24 after a teenage employee reported that a customer exposed his genitals while she handed him food through the drive-thru window.
Investigators reviewed surveillance video and identified a vehicle registered to Dudkewic.
Dudkewic initially denied exposing himself but admitted during subsequent interviews that he was wearing a vibrating sex toy while driving through the restaurant, according to the sheriff’s office. He claimed he did not believe the device or his genitals were visible under his shorts.
Detectives determined that Dudkewic intentionally exposed himself and obtained an arrest warrant. He was arrested April 30 and later released on a $10,000 bond.
“This case was a collaborative effort, and I commend our Community Policing Division deputies and Major Case Unit detectives who investigated this case,” Sheriff Rick Staly said.
Staly said he would have preferred a prison sentence but noted that sentencing decisions are outside the sheriff’s office’s control.
“I guess he’ll have to like hamburgers, which won’t make the billboard cows happy,” Staly said of the judge’s order barring Dudkewic from the restaurant.
