ORLANDO, Fla. — The second-largest Powerball jackpot of all time is up for grabs Wednesday night.

One lucky winner may win $1.2 billion if they can pick the right numbers.
Channel 9 spoke with people buying tickets who said winning would be life changing.

Odds are slim, but you can’t win if you don’t play.
People around Central Florida were snatching up tickets for the drawing throughout the day.

The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
Most big-prize winners opt to take the lump sum payment.

For Wednesday’s drawing, this works out to be just under $600 million.
