ORLANDO, Fla. — A 25-year-old man died early Thursday after being shot at a condominium complex, the Orlando Police Department said.
Jefrey Concepcion was shot shortly before 12:15 a.m. at the Regency Gardens condominiums at Dixie Belle Drive and Pershing Avenue, Orlando police Lt. Diego Toruno said.
Police found Concepcion with a gunshot wound in a parking lot at the complex, Toruno said.
Concepcion was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he died.
"A suspect was located in the area of the complex," Orlando police Lt. Roger Brennan said. "(The) initial investigation indicates the victim and (the) suspect knew each other."
Police arrested Alex James Jones, 25, on charges of second-degree murder.
Jones got into a fight with his roommate Adam Rivera earlier in the night over stolen property. Rivera and Concepcion later went downstairs to talk to Jones and he shot Concepcion in the stomach, police said.
The shooting remains under investigation.
No other details were given.
