Police search for man accused of kissing boy, 12, in Target

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Police are looking for the man who they said may be preying on young boys in Orange County.

Police said the man approached a 12-year-old boy in a Target store on Millenia Plaza Way on Oct. 6 and asked to give the boy a kiss, but the victim refused.

They said the man then kissed the victim on the mouth and ran out of the store.

Surveillance video captured the man walking inside the store and police hope it will generate some leads on his identity.

Police said a similar incident happened at the Northbridge at Millenia apartment complex on Oct. 9.

They said a man lured a 10-year-old boy, who suffers from autism, into the community pool bathroom.

The man locked the door and once they were inside the bathroom, the man tried to remove the victim’s belt but the boy screamed, according to police.

“It’s pretty disgusting. Any person who has to corrupt a little a child to get sex is disgusting,” said Angelica Empuno, a resident at the apartment complex.

Police released surveillance video showing the man following the boy into the restroom.

“He did it twice. He’s going to keep doing it. As long as he’s out on the street walking, he’s going to be doing it,” Empuno said.

The victim was able to get out of the bathroom.

Anyone with information is urged to call police.
