ORLANDO, Fla. — Here’s a little good news for your Friday — and a little something extra for your wallet.
The price of gas in Florida is the lowest it has been in nearly five months.

For the eighth week straight, the average cost of gas in the Sunshine State has fallen.
AAA said the price for a gallon of regular unleaded dropped to $3.83 on Friday, posting the lowest daily average since March.

That’s down roughly 70 cents from last month — and nearly $1 from Florida’s all-time high price of $4.89 a gallon in mid-June.
To put things in perspective, it will now cost you about $58 to fill up your average-sized 15-gallon tank.
