ORANGE COUNTY. Fla. — A tractor-trailer hauling lumber crashed on the Turnpike, causing delays Tuesday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP said the truck was exiting the Turnpike at the Orange Blossom Trail exit when the driver lost control and hit a car hauler entering the Turnpike from OBT.
The two vehicles collided and the tractor-trailer overturned, spilling lumber on the roadway, troopers said.
Two people from each vehicle were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, FHP said.
The exit and entrance ramp of OBT on the Turnpike were closed as crews cleaned up, but have since reopened.
The names of those involved have not been released.
