A Grants Pass, Oregon-based coffee chain plans to open a metro Orlando location -- its first in Florida.

Dutch Bros. Inc. has proposed a drive-thru and patio in Seminole County at 3340 E. Semoran Blvd. in Apopka. Portland-based Cole Valley Partners is the development partner for the proposal.

Dutch Bros. Coffee may reuse the 1,982-square-foot existing building or demolish that and build a 950-square-foot building with a patio. Each store usually has 40-50 employees, with four to eight working at any given time, per the Seminole County application from Cole Valley Partners.
