To clarify the department’s November 6 announcement, the projected level of 6.2 feet should not be described as the lake’s expected peak.
Forecasts beyond November 11 will be provided in future updates.

Rising water could flood portions of Seminole Boulevard and lead to road closures. The department will continue assessing conditions and notify residents about affected areas. This notice does not announce any current road closures.
“The safety of our residents remains our top priority,” Fire Chief McNeil said.

McNeil continues to say, “We encourage everyone to stay informed, use caution when traveling, and avoid flooded roadways. We will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates as needed.”
