Longwood firefighters reunited with boy years after saving his life

LONGWOOD, Fla. — There was a heartwarming reunion Tuesday with first responders in Longwood.

A young boy was reunited with a team of firefighters, years after they helped save his life.

Jacob Gorgans had a seizure when he was younger and firefighters at Station 15 in Longwood rushed him to the hospital.

After he was rescued, Jacob and his mother went back to the station to thank the firefighters every day.

Then, the family moved away.

His family drove back to the station Tuesday for a long-awaited reunion.

This was the first time the firefighters and Jacob had seen each other in eight years.
