COCOA BEACH, Fla. — A 21-year-old man riding a skateboard on State Road A1A was hit by a car Tuesday, said Cocoa Beach police.
Zakkary Herman was airlifted to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, where he was listed in critical condition.
The driver of the car was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation and no charges have been filed, said police.
