ORLANDO, Fla. — Firefighters extinguished a large fire Tuesday afternoon along International Drive and Universal Boulevard in the heart of Orlando's tourism corridor, Orange County Fire Rescue said.
Slide parts stored in an open field near Wet 'n Wild Orlando caught fire at about 2:15 p.m., firefighters said.
It took eight units 30 minutes to extinguish the fire, the Orlando Fire Department said.
The fire was extinguished shortly before 2:45 p.m.
OFD said no one was injured.
It's unknown what sparked the fire.
No other information was released.
