SpaceX plans for Falcon 9 rocket launch from Florida’s Space Coast this weekend

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. — SpaceX is looking to launch a Falcon 9 rocket over the weekend.

SpaceX said it is targeting Sunday afternoon for the rocket launch from Florida’s Space Coast to support Starlink.

The goal of SpaceX’s Starlink is to create a constellation of satellites to offer high-speed internet access worldwide.

The launch window at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station is scheduled to open at 1:12 p.m.
