CENTRAL FLORIDA — Spectrum cable customers in Florida were without service Thursday as the company reported it was experiencing a statewide outage.
"All areas of Florida may be experiencing the issues with TV service," Spectrum announced on its Twitter page.
The company did not immediately give a reason for the service interruption.
Call centers were clogged with customers wanting to know why their cable was out and Spectrum said they were working on the issue and that "there is no need to call to report the outage in your area."
"Our engineers are away of the issue and are working to resolve ASAP."
No other information was immediately available.
Florida customers, thanks for your patience as our engineers continue to work this issue. We unfortunately do not have an ETR at this time.
