ORLANDO, Fla. — A portion of the Cinemark movie theaters at Artegon Marketplace was evacuated Saturday afternoon after a suspicious bag was found in the bushes on the north side of the mall, the Orlando Police Department said.
Officers said the item was found shortly before 12:30 p.m.
The Orlando Fire Department’s Arson and Bomb Squad has responded to the scene to investigate.
The theater was evacuated as a precaution, police said.
It was reopened shortly before 2 p.m. once firefighters determined that the bag wasn't harmful.
No other details were given.
