ORLANDO, Fla. — A talking Mickey Mouse could soon greet park visitors to the happiest place on earth.
The chairman for Walt Disney theme parks and resorts Tom Staggs announced Thursday that Disney is working on technology that would let a costumed Mickey and other characters speak.
Guests could have the option of having characters greet their children by name using Disney's magic band wristbands that feature radio frequency microchips to serve as tickets and connection to Disney's data about park visitors.
