KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Tupperware, in partnership with Loop, has designed a one-of-a-kind reusable packaging container for Canadian fast food restaurant Tim Hortons.
The pilot program gives customers the option of paying a deposit and receiving reusable cups and food containers with their order that can be returned so they can help reduce waste.

Last year Tupperware announced they were partnering with TerraCycle’s zero-waste platform Loop to create zero-waste, durable and returnable packaging.

At the time of the announcement TerraCycle pointed to the iconic reusable container company’s decades of knowledge in product design and reusability as key to their circular recycling model.

The pilot program with Tim Hortons is Tupperware’s first foray into the recycling market as part of Tupperware’s “No Time to Waste” initiative.
Tupperware said they plan to have additional reusable package options available to more of Loop’s brand partners in 2022.
