Publix to offer discount for veterans this Veterans Day

LAKELAND, Fla. — Publix announced that it would offer a discount for veterans, active military and their families this Veterans Day.

The Florida-based grocery chain said the discount was a token of appreciation for their military service.

Publix said customers can save 10% on in-store grocery purchases by showing their veteran or military ID card, discharge document or a driver’s license with veteran designation at checkout.
