LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — A delivery driver for a Walmart vendor was arrested in Mount Dora after he was accused of shooting cellphone video up a woman’s skirt while she was shopping at the store, police said.
Camilo Barbosa is accused of following the woman around the store Monday morning and shooting video under her skirt when she bent over to pick something up.
The victim realized what had happened and confronted Barbosa, Mount Dora police spokeswoman Megan Glass said.
“He denied it, and she wasn’t satisfied with that, and she went directly to the Walmart manager,” she said.
The manager took Barbosa’s phone and called police
He gave officers permission to look at the phone, and they found videos of the victim whom he had recorded, investigators said.
Outside the Lake County Walmart on Tuesday, shopper Shaadrah Melchizedek said she was glad an arrest was made in the case, but hated having to be concerned about something similar happening to her.
“It hurts my heart that we have to think about things (like that),” she said. “I’m concerned about my purse, and now I have to be concerned if I wear a skirt.”
Barbosa was charged with video voyeurism and was released from the Lake County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
