Officers said Howe had been reaching for something in his truck, but could not tell what it is.

They told Howe his license had been suspended, and he put his truck in drive. That led to a pursuit.

The footage shows a deputy fire five shots back at Howe through his windshield.

Deputies said Howe’s gun had 13 rounds in it, and one round was fired.
