VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — A Georgia man was killed Sunday morning after attempting to pass traffic on a two-lane road in Volusia County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash happened on State Road 415 near the intersection of Osceola Tram Road at 10:21 a.m.

According to troopers, witnesses told them that an Infiniti G35 traveling northbound was passing traffic and traveled into the southbound lanes.
After observing oncoming traffic, the driver of the Infiniti then overcorrected back in the northbound lanes and overturned, crashing into a tree.

The 45-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both lanes of State Road 415 were shut down for hour on Sunday while troopers investigated this crash.
