DELAND, Fla. — The DeLand Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a 79-year-old man wanted on active felony warrants involving sexual battery and procuring a minor for prostitution.
Authorities are searching for John Szolosi, who faces charges of lewd and lascivious sexual battery to a person older than 12 years of age but less than 16 years of age. He is also charged with procuring a person under 18 years of age for prostitution.
Police said the active felony warrants carry no bond and include a nationwide pickup order.
Szolosi is described as a white male with brown eyes who is bald. He is six feet tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds. Police noted that his current whereabouts are unknown.
Authorities ask anyone with information that could assist in locating Szolosi to contact the DeLand Police Department at 386-626-7400 or submit a tip online through Crimewatch.
