VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Ormond Beach police are searching for a man officers said broke a woman's facial bones and teeth when he attacked her outside a restaurant.
The attack happened on May 30, outside the Ormond Garage Restaurant on West Granada Boulevard.
Cell phone video released by police shows another man pulling the attacker, in a green T-shirt, off of the woman.
The man then gets into a silver car and leaves the area.
Police said the woman had just left the Grind Gastropub just before 2 a.m. and was heading to her car parked at the Ormond Garage restaurant. When she saw the man in the green shirt leaning against it she asked him to move so she could get in her car and leave.
That's when police say the man headbutted the woman, knocked her to the ground and then got on top of her and began punching her.

“She got a facial fracture and numerous bruises to throat and face and several teeth damage, so she had to go to the hospital to get checked out,” said Keith Walker with the Ormond Beach Police Department.
Police said for now the attack appears to be completely random.
They are asking the public for help in identifying the man and bringing him in.
Officers said he could face a battery charge if caught.
