VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Volusia County Transit Services will upgrade its phone system for VoTran, VoAccess and East Volusia VoRide on Wednesday, Aug. 19, with a brief service outage expected around noon.

Customers booking VoAccess or East Volusia VoRide trips are encouraged to plan ahead by calling earlier in the day or using the VoTran On Demand mobile app during the outage to avoid processing delays. Those with non-urgent questions can submit a request through the Contact Us form at VoTran.org.

Following the upgrade, some existing phone lines and extension numbers will be discontinued or changed.

The main numbers remaining in service will be:

  • 386-761-7700 for direct customer service
  • 386-756-7496 for the VoTran and VoAccess main office
  • 386-322-5100 for transit services

Transit staff are training this week ahead of the system change. Passengers booking VoRide trips in West Volusia zones should continue using the VoRide app or call 386-210-9861.
