Walgreens employee pistol-whipped during robbery

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police said they are looking for two men who robbed a Walgreens at gunpoint and pistol-whipped an employee.

Police said the robbery happened at the Walgreens on South Kirkman Road, just before 11:00 Monday night.

Authorities released surveillance photos, showing the man walking in and then terrorizing the employee.

Employees said they saw the men at the store before the robbery. The employees reported the two men going in and out of the store before finally coming in armed and masked.

Investigators said the men were casing the store about two hours before the robbery.

One employee was forced into the store office at gunpoint.

The employee was treated for minor injuries and is doing fine, police said.

Investigators did not release how much was stolen during the robbery.
