APOPKA, Fla. — Visitors now have a new way to spend the night at Wekiwa Springs State Park without giving up air conditioning or a comfortable bed.

The park has added four glamping tents to its campground. Each tent includes a queen bed, twin futon, air conditioning and heat, a four-cup coffee maker, an ice chest and bed linens. The tents can accommodate up to three adults.

Outside, guests have access to a picnic table, fire pit with a grill ring and freshwater spigot.

Visitors can also explore the park’s walking and biking trails, go horseback riding or rent canoes and kayaks. Wildlife commonly seen around the park includes white-tailed deer, wild turkeys and Sherman’s fox squirrels.

The glamping accommodations and outdoor rentals are managed by Adventures Unbound by Guest Services.
