Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival to draw thousands of visitors over holiday weekend

WINTER PARK, Fla. — A popular event has returned to Winter Park.

The Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival began Friday morning, and the fun is set to last all weekend.

This is one of the nation’s most prestigious outdoor art festivals, featuring artists from across the country along Park Avenue.

“It’s actually refreshing to see people outside enjoying the outdoors, and being in close proximity to each other too, and being friendly,” said Winter Park resident Doug Kverek.

Organizers want to remind visitors that no pets, bicycles, motorized scooters or skateboards will be allowed inside the festival areas.

There will be events and displays through Saturday and Sunday, rain or shine.
