State transportation officials have begun installing cameras that are meant to help prevent wrong-way crashes.
Channel 9 has reported on several fatal wrong-way crashes in central Florida, including one at State Road 408 near Good Homes Road.
In 2012 a car going the wrong way struck a vehicle driven by Charlie Penrose, 66, killing him.
"We have seen about 134 cases of reported wrong-way drivers just in central Florida in the last year," Sgt. Kim Montes, of the Florida Highway Patrol, said.

That's why the Central Florida Expressway Authority started testing wrong-way driver alert systems that include large, red signs and flashing lights.
One of those systems was activated this month at State Road 528 and State Road 520. Another system at State Road 408 and Hiawassee Road went into service in January.
In the past week at State Road 408, systems successfully warned the driver of a car and a bicycle rider that they were going the wrong way. Both of them turned around, officials said.
If a vehicle gets past the first set of warning signs that are posted, cameras are activated. If that vehicle goes past the second set of signs, law enforcement agencies are notified.
At the same time, electronic billboards can be activated warning drivers that a vehicle in the area is traveling in the wrong direction.
The Expressway Authority has already approved the money for the systems at other locations.
"It's not going to be 100 percent, but we've already seen two cases where drivers have righted themselves. This system is working," Montes said.
The Expressway Authority will spend $2.3 million over the next three years to put the systems at 32 more sites.
