ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A man is dead after he was shot at an Orange County apartment complex late Tuesday night and deputies are still searching for his killer. The victim was identified as 28-year-old Deshay Lamar Jackson.
At least two 911 calls reporting gunshots fired came in just before midnight Tuesday. By the time paramedics arrived at the scene, Jackson was lying in the parking lot dead.

Homicide detectives and a forensics team were at the scene early Wednesday morning trying to figure out what happened and why.
Orange County deputies scoured the Dunwoodie Place apartment complex near Texas Avenue ( see map ) as they searched for clues in the fatal shooting.
Deputies say the shooting happened in a high-crime area and they are having trouble finding witnesses who will cooperate with their investigation. As a result, they have very few answers at this point in the investigation.
"We have no idea what the motive is for this and the investigation is still ongoing," said Commander Rick Luckey, Orange County Sheriff's Office.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office is asking for the community's help in finding the shooter. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477). Tipsters will remain anonymous and can qualify for a cash reward for their information.
