Tom Brady to reunite with Rob Gronkowski ... in movie about four older women who want to see Brady's 'last' Super Bowl

What happens when you combine Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady, Oscar winner Sally Field, EGOT winner Rita Moreno, former NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski and celebrity chef Guy Fieri? A hit movie, of course.

The trailer for "80 for Brady" dropped Thursday, and it's ... a lot to unpack. The premise — which is apparently based on a true story — follows four women in their 80s who vow to travel to Super Bowl LI to watch Brady play in what could be his "final" Super Bowl. Field, Moreno, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin play the four women at the center of the story. That's a surprising amount of star power in a movie about Brady.

Brady isn't shown much in the trailer, but he will don his New England Patriots apparel for the film. He'll be surrounded by a few former teammates. In addition to Gronkowski, both Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman will star in the film.

Oh, right, and also Guy Fieri is here. You should probably just watch the trailer. Even if you think the movie doesn't appeal to you, the casting and premise is so bizarre that you'll have plenty of questions.

So, what do we have here? Well, you have older women fawning over Brady, Gronk erotica, a buddy road-trip comedy, a Moreno dab (we think), Field getting involved in a hot wings contest hosted by Fieri, some twist and jerk choreography, bad and over-the-top acting by Gronkowski and a requisite scene where the women start tripping on drugs and one of them turns into Fieri.

If you read that last paragraph and thought we made some of those plot points up, that's not the case. Everything you see above is — like that "Key and Peele" skit about "Gremlins 2" — in the movie. We were tempted to make a few things up, though.

If all of this sounds like a studio exec threw a bunch of darts at actors and plot points and athletes and celebrity chefs and randomly came up with this cast ... yeah, we would believe that too.

Will "80 for Brady" actually be good? That's not for a us to say. The four main women are legitimately legends in the acting and entertainment world, so there is star power here. Sprinkle in some Gronkowski flirting, a Fieri drug trip and the Super Bowl, and maybe — like Fieri's "Trash Can Nachos" — it will result in a recipe you didn't know you needed.
