ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A woman was killed in a shooting near the Clear Lake neighborhood in Orlando Wednesday night, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
Just after 10 p.m., deputies were called to the 1400-block of Grand Street between Rio Grande Ave. and Orange Blossom Trl. for reports of a shooting.
Deputies said Betrice Taylor was shot during what investigators believe was a drug deal. Taylor later died at a hospital.

Deputies said they took Bruce Brown into custody around 4:30 a.m. Thursday.
Minutes before, Channel 9′s Ashley Edlund heard deputies calling for a “Bruce” to leave the house.
Deputies said Brown is charged with second-degree homicide and criminal mischief.
They said he also damaged a patrol car.
