PALM COAST, Fla.,None — Two Palm Coast brothers have been charged in a bank robbery that happened last month, deputies said.
Michael and Shawn Cona robbed the Hancock Bank on Palm Coast Parkway on June 22, according to deputies.
Michael Cona was arrested Friday at their family home, while Shawn Cona was served with an arrest warrant inside the Flagler County Inmate Facility where he was being held on drug charges.
Flagler County Sheriffs detectives said Shawn Cona drove the getaway car after Michael Cona walked into the bank brandishing a gun and threatened to shoot the bank teller and customers if they did not give him money.
Both men are being held on charges of felony robbery with a firearm. A bond has been set at $100,000 each.
