Investigation underway after man shot in leg in Orlando neighborhood, police say

ORLANDO, Fla. — A man is recovering after being shot Wednesday night in Orlando.

Officers with the Orlando Police Department responded to the Lake Mann Estates neighborhood around 10:15 p.m., following reports of a shooting.

Along Fitzgerald Drive, they said they found the man with an injury to his leg.

Early Thursday, Channel 9 saw crime scene tape still stretched across a section of the neighborhood east of Lake Mann, as investigators appeared to collect evidence.

OPD has not released details about a possible motive for the shooting but told Eyewitness News that no arrest has been made in the case.
