Disney Imagineers create new Hidden Mickeys constantly, especially whenever an area is refurbished or a new attraction is constructed. So always be aware of Hidden Images, new and old, when you step onto Disney property. I visited Epcot’s Future World to check on the old and new. My first stop was Mission: SPACE.
In the gift shop at the exit of the attraction, look up for Mickey. In the center of the shop near the exit doors, a large side profile of Mickey Mouse is painted on the ceiling in the middle square.
In the mural behind the gift shop counter, a small black classic (three-circle) Hidden Mickey is in the dirt under Minnie Mouse’s left foot.
Don’t forget other Hidden Characters! A Hidden Buzz Lightyear has appeared in a display along the right side of the entrance queue of the “Journey into Imagination with Figment” attraction at the Imagination Pavilion.
Find Buzz across from Professor Phillip Brainard’s office door.
In the rainbow room, near the end of the “Journey into Imagination with Figment” ride, look for two classic Hidden Mickeys. One is on a cloud at the bottom right of the stage. The second classic Hidden Mickey in the rainbow room is in snow.
Find the letters that spell "Action” that stand in the middle of the scene. Snow covers the top of the letter “A,” and a classic Mickey, tilting to the left, sits in the snow at the bottom left of the snow cap.
At the exit of the Figment ride, a classic Hidden Mickey is on the floor behind a pillar in the middle of “ImageWorks.” It’s made of tan-colored tile.
Many Mickey images (not all of them hidden) are in the MouseGear shop in Future World. Like this classic Hidden Mickey high on a rear wall in the right-side room of the store (at the right middle of the photo).
Enjoy the search!
