ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Nearly a month after a man was shot to death in Winter Park, Orange County deputies have made an arrest in the case.
Deputies responded to a 911 call from 2500 Summer Wind Drive around 11 p.m. on Sept. 20 and arrived to find a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound.

The victim, later identified as Cody Toumala, died at the hospital.
On Friday, deputies announced the arrest of 18-year-old Johnny Vazquez.
Vazquez was booked into the Orange County jail Friday night on a charge of first-degree murder with a firearm.
He’s being held there on no bond.

The Sheriff’s Office hasn’t released the details of how they connected Vazquez to Toumala’s murder.
