Kanye West recently announced that he was working on the follow-up to his latest album, "The Life of Pablo."
The new album is tentatively called "Turbo Grafx 16."
So when West tweeted a picture of the latest inspiration for his new music, it wasn't a surprise.
It's clear that West intended the photo of his computer screen to focus on the fact that he was listening to Sufjan Stevens' song "Death With Dignity," but the second tab on his screen appears to be Pirate Bay, a popular torrenting site often used to search for and steal music and software.
Seeing the link to Pirate Bay is surprising because West has been encouraging fans to sign up for Tidal, a music service in which he is one of the owners.
It's also surprising because "The Life of Pablo" has been pirated 500,000 times in the 24 hours it was released Feb. 14, according to NPR.
Based on other tabs, The Guardian reported that West might have been trying to work around paying for a $200 synthesizer by Xfer Records.
At least, that's what Canadian house musician deadmau5 thought.
Deadmau5 tweeted choice words for the rapper.
He also took jabs West for a fan-started GoFundMe campaign that was launched after West said he was $53 million in debt.

West didn't miss a chance to respond, although he never tagged deadmau5 in his tweets.
@kanyewest question: what were you downloading on Pirate Bay?

There's no word on whether deadmau5 will take up any of West's offers.
