Former Gov. Rick Perry will be on the celebrity dance show "Dancing With the Stars," Entertainment Tonight reported Monday.

The full cast and pairings will be revealed on "Good Morning America" on Tuesday, the entertainment news outlet said. The show’s upcoming season premieres Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. on ABC.

Former U.S. House Majority Leader Tom DeLay also appeared on the show in 2013.

After dropping out of the presidential race last year, Perry took a job as a lobbyist for a dental benefits management firm. Officials with MCNA Dental, the largest privately held dental insurance company in the country, were the biggest contributors to Perry's presidential campaign last year.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump recently said Perry would "do well" if he challenged U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz in a bid for his Senate seat in 2018.
