Veterinarians will examine a bald eagle that was rescued after getting trapped in a tree in Washington Wednesday.
The eagle became trapped 20 feet up when its leg got wedged between two branches.
BOTHELL, Wash. — Firefighters used a ladder to help volunteers from the Sarvey Wildlife Care Center to reach the bird.
Volunteers say the eagle appears to be in good health.
Veterinarians will do X-rays and take a closer look at the eagle's leg Thursday.
