SYDNEY — According to The Associated Press, actress Amber Heard, wife of Johnny Depp, pleaded guilty Monday to producing a false or misleading immigration document after she brought Pistol and Boo, the couple's Yorkshire terriers, to Australia on a private jet last year. Two other charges of illegally importing the dogs – which could have landed the actress in jail – were dropped.
Heard, who was sentenced to a one-month "good behavior bond," and Depp also issued an awkward apology video. The clip, posted to Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce's Facebook page, has gone viral, with more than 455,000 views.
"I think someone has a pistol to Boo behind the camera," Facebook user Anna Blight wrote.
Mashable, meanwhile, described the clip as "unbelievable," saying it "looks like the couple have been held hostage in North Korea."
