NEW YORK — The man who punched “Ghostbusters” actor Rick Moranis in 2020 pleaded guilty on Tuesday.
Marquis Ventura pleaded guilty to assault in the second degree along with six other charges in exchange for a two-year prison sentence, according to WPIX. Additionally, he is expected to get three years of post-release supervision when he is sentenced.

In 2020, Moranis was taking an early morning walk outside his home in Manhattan when he was punched in the face by an unknown passer-by. Ventura was arrested shortly after the incident.
Ventura was charged on Nov. 15, 2020, with five assaults on strangers, according to The Associated Press.
