GREENSBURG, Pa. — A Pennsylvania K-9 will work his last day on the job Monday.
K-9 Dax is retiring after more than 12 years on the Greensburg police force.
He has been involved in countless narcotics seizures and tracking of suspects and missing people.
“Your loyalty, courage and sacrifice will not be forgotten,” Greensburg police said on social media.
Plans are in motion to add another K-9 to the force soon.
