Authorities arrested Keshun Tuggle on suspicion of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, providing a handgun to a juvenile, and tampering with or fabricating evidence, WHBQ reported.

Authorities interviewed Tuggle and the 12-year-old after responding Sunday to a report of a shooting at the Shadowbrook Townhomes, according to WHBQ. A 13-year-old boy was rushed from the scene to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital with a gunshot wound from the incident, the news station reported.

Tuggle initially told police the 13-year-old was injured in a drive-by shooting. However, police said that evidence at the scene appeared to contradict that account, according to WHBQ. In an affidavit obtained by the news station, the victim said that he was shot by the 12-year-old in a dispute over a video game.

Tuggle later admitted to staging the crime scene and disposing of the gun used, which the 12-year-old said belonged to Tuggle, according to WHBQ.

Authorities continue to investigate.
