Recall alert: Select Hanna Anderson baby clothes recalled amid choking hazards

PORTLAND, Ore. — Hanna Anderson LLC on Friday issued a pair of recalls for select baby clothes because of snaps that can detach posing a choking hazard.

The first recall affects some 4,400 Baby Long Sleeve Wiggle Sets because the snap on the long sleeve can detach. The company has received one such report, but no injuries have been reported. The style number 66938 is written on the main label at the neck of the top.

The second recall affects about 3,200 Baby Ruffle Rompers because the snap on the romper can detach. The company has fielded three reports of the snaps detaching or the fabric around the snaps ripping, but no incidents of children putting snaps in their mouths or injuries have been received. The style number 66919 is written on the main label at the neck of the top.

The wiggle sets and rompers were sold exclusively online at from July 2021 through October 2021 for about $46 and $40, respectively.

Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the recalled products and to contact Hanna Andersson for a full refund. Hanna Andersson, which is contacting all known purchasers directly, will be providing postage-paid labeling to consumers for the return of the product for a full refund.
