LYNDHURST, Ohio — Authorities were called to an Ohio Cheesecake Factory location last week after a group of irate customers tried to walk out on their bill and threw a plate at an employee, according to multiple reports.

The employee, who was not identified, was not injured, according to Cleveland.com.

Lyndhurst police were called just before 10 p.m. on June 15 after a group of 10 customers refused to pay their bill at the Cheesecake Factory at Legacy Village, Cleveland.com reported. The group owed $501.71, but a manager took $100 off the bill after they complained about the service they’d received, according to WOIO. Still, in a police report obtained by the news station, employees said the group became aggressive and threatened to “crack (the manager’s) head.”

Police said a 59-year-old Richmond Heights woman threw a plate at a server, hitting her in the arm. The server later declined to press charges.

When police arrived, only two members of the group remained at the restaurant, according to Cleveland.com. Authorities issued criminal trespass warnings to a 36-year-old Richmond Heights man and a 32-year-old Euclid woman after the incident, WOIO reported.
