White House protests continue, calling for all votes to be counted

WASHINGTON — Crowds of people gathered outside the White House again Wednesday, determined to make sure every vote in the 2020 election is counted.

There’s still a fenced barrier around the perimeter of the White House, where President Trump has spent much of the day just a block from where the protesters have gathered.

Protesters said they were concerned about the President wanting to go to the Supreme Court over election results, and the lawsuits being filed in states where votes are still being counted.

“We don’t want the president or the Republican Party to prevent the vote from being finished. It’s going to be a close election. It’s going to be a while for the count."

The President’s campaign team has been filing lawsuits to halt that ballot counting until they get what they call meaningful access to watch.
