None — Lake Mary senior Morgan Jones, who led the Rams to the FHSAA Class 6A state championship in February struggled from the field but found other ways to contribute in the McDonald's Girls All American Game Wednesday night in Chicago.
Jones finished with two points on 1-9 shooting, but also pulled down five rebounds for the West team.
Elizabeth Williams set a record with 23 points and had 11 rebounds to lead the East to a 78-66 rout of the West on Wednesday night in the McDonald's All-American game in front of a sold out crowd at the United Center.
Williams, who has committed to Duke, won the MVP award in front of a record 19,909 fans.
Tennessee recruit Ariel Massengale added 13 points for the East, which held a double-digit lead throughout the second half.
"I really like big games. I like playing in the big games so I was excited, I was happy. The bigger, the better," said Williams.
Williams surpassed Alexis Hornbuckle's record of 22 points set in the 2004 McDonald's All-American game.
Massengale, from suburban Bolingbrook High School, made back-to-back 3-pointers early in the second half.
"It was amazing. I was honored to have the game in my state and that I was chosen to particpate this year," said Massengale.
Brianna Banks led the West with 17 points. Banks, a Connecticut signee, scored seven straight points to get the West within 12 points at 71-59 with 4:18 left.
