ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Orlando Magic have the worst record in the NBA at 5-20, but Tuesday brought some great news on the injury front.
Jonathan Isaac has been sent to the team’s G League affiliate in Lakeland. He’ll practice 5-on-5 for the first time since tearing his ACL in 2020. That is significant for a team that desperately needs a force in the frontcourt.
Isaac missed the last two seasons after that ACL tear in the NBA re-start in the bubble and while rehabbing at the end of last season, he suffered a hamstring injury. It has been a long road for Isaac and he’s thankful to take another step toward his much-anticipated return.
