ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Rollins College baseball team swept Barry in their home Super Regional this weekend to advance to the Division 2 World Series for the second straight season.
The Tars won 7-4 on Friday and 7-1 on Saturday to capture the South Region title, advancing to Cary, North Carolina. The Tars improved to 39-17 with the win, while the Bucs finish the season 35-19.
Rollins earns the No. 4 seed in the World Series and will open play against the No. 5 seed Cal State Bernardino on June 3 at 1:30. The tournament is double elimination.
