A cold start to Saturday, and a high rip current risk at area beaches

ORLANDO, Fla. — It is a cold start to Saturday, with temperature dropping down into the 30s in Marion County and 40s in other parts of Central Florida.

It will be breezy and cool throughout the day with highs reaching the upper 60s and low 70s.

On the coast, beach-goers and boaters will face some hazards on Saturday with high rip current risk and a small craft advisory in place.

It won’t be as cold on Saturday night, but temperature will dip into the 50s.

Sunday will be mostly sunny skies and mild temperatures with highs in the mid-70s.
