French bulldog stolen at gunpoint in Hiawassee neighborhood

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County deputies said someone pointed a gun at a man while he was walking his French bulldog Bugsy in his Hiawassee neighborhood last Thursday night.

The suspect told the dog’s owner to give up the dog or he would shoot him. Deputies said the suspect grabbed the dog and then jumped in a silver sedan.

A woman was in the driver’s seat and the two took off with Bugsy, according to deputies.

Bugsy’s owner Johnny Matos said the people who did this stole a family member.

“It’s really been tough. They’ve really torn this family up with that,” he said. “We’re struggling right now because we don’t want … to give up hope. But the longer it goes on, it’s wearing on you.

Crimeline is offering a $1,000 reward for information on this case.
