Friday’s forecast: Nearby front to boost rain chance

ORLANDO, Fla. — A nearby front will help boost our rain chances for Friday.

Through lunchtime, conditions will remain dry, with partly cloudy skies.

There is a small chance for spotty showers, at 20%.

The best chance for storms is in the evening hours.

Temperatures will remain in the upper 80s and low 90s.

Looking ahead, temperatures will remain in the upper 80s and 90s for the holiday weekend.

In the tropics, Hurricane Larry continues to slowly strengthen. The storm could become a major hurricane by Friday. It is too early to tell where it will go.
